white papers (to be added by zannos, giannakou, matziaraki)

a number of white papers should be written/introduced concerning vital technical and conceptual issues. some of them, deal with:
- sensor technology, it is important the technologies used allow the expressiveness of the physical user parameters (motion, direction, positioning, speed etc.) to the system's parameter spaces.
- mapping physical parameters/characteristics of gesture, space, sound and image (light, video etc.) to the 'virtual' parameters of the systems. for example mapping physical to the virtual space etc.

statement

the general idea is to create interconnected entities in intelligent cybernetic networks of dynamically changing physical/virtual agents of sonolight machine scapes and objects(what ever that means!).

the first man/machine entity is the SelfSpace platform involving a machine and human agent and a virtual game like 3d environment.
the structure is equipped with sensors perimetrically and internally to accept input from the human/s agent/s.

the goal is to create more systems with similar design ideas to shape a larger meta-network of interacting human machine agents trained or autonomous.

in more formalized structures these networks will be able to exhibit recognizable (social, human, systemic) behaviors representing paradigms and forms (from opera to traffic jam and further more to systems theory and physics).

iannis reminded me something really important that i had almost forgot how much it has affected me since i was a little child,

work session with iannis zannos

after a brief interruption a few hours session with iannis was completed discusssing the following development topics:
- processing ebook and hardcover book (sent and ready to use)
- mentioned bug in super collider concerning audio in (waiting a response from forum)
- a revival of the dynamicsoundscape blog, bring up to date with the first version of self space

the long awaited answer from the forum concerning the SC audio in:
http://swiki.hfbk-hamburg.de:8888/MusicTechnology/825

test code for the audio in:

(
SynthDef("help-AudioIn",{ arg out=0;
Out.ar(out,
DelayN.ar(AudioIn.ar(1), 1, 1);
)
}).play;
)

(
SynthDef("help-AudioIn",{ arg out=0;
Out.ar(out,
CombN.ar(AudioIn.ar(1), 0.5, 0.5, 5);
)
}).play;
)
you should hear a delay/echo to your live input
